WSM is the NGO of the Christian Workers Movement (CWM) and its constituent organisations. It works to strengthen social movements on several continents and brings them together in networks, so that present and future generations can enjoy the universal right to a dignified life and social protection. Its aims include

• Defend labour rights and the right to social protection; 
• Prevent and eradicate poverty and exclusion;

The Confederation of Christian Trade Unions, or CSC (in Dutch: Algemeen Christelijk Vakverbond, or ACV), is the majority trade union in Belgium, a position further confirmed by the results of the 2008 social elections. The union is national. For the CSC, international solidarity is an essential element of trade union action. In the global economy, the interests of workers in our country cannot be dissociated from those in other countries.

Throughout the world, the CSC supports representative, autonomous and free trade unions in their fight for social justice and decent work.

The Christian Mutuality is a Belgian mutual (social insurance) organisation founded in 1886, although its creation was formalised by Royal Decree on 28 May 1906. Its abbreviation is "MC", which is also used on its website www.mc.be, and its slogan is based on one of its fundamental principles: "Solidarity is good for your health". One of the MC's missions is to guarantee access to healthcare by developing mutual societies and solidarity throughout the world. In many parts of the world, and particularly in the countries of the South, most families do not have access to quality healthcare. In response to various requests from abroad, the MC has chosen to support the emergence of mutualist initiatives, but also to draw inspiration from them, with a dual approach of openness and exchange.
